Frustrated

This is not a book or a post about a book I've just read, but I will be done with another book soon. No this a rant, because as the title says I'm frustrated. I'm am feeling this way because I ordered a book online in March, close to the end. Okay, it said that the books I ordered should be here no later than April 8th, and what date is it, the 15th. Wonderful! Yea, well I ordered 8 books. 7 of them have arrived, all at different times because they came from different sellers. I ordered used books. I prefer new books, but not when I'm going to have to pay $18 dollars for just one. So I saved money, around $60. Most of the books cost $2 with some change. I got 2 hard back books that would of cost $17 or $18 each, but got one for $10 and the other for $7. I now understand why I should buy used books more often. All of them are in good condition, some even looking like new. Back to the point, the book that has yet to arrive is Beastly. A book I've been wanting to read for a while. If my library had it, I would of not bought the book, but as I have said many times, my library sucks. Well at least to me. Every day I go to my mail box expecting a package that looks to contain a book. I am very disappointed every day. I am hoping the book arrives soon. I need to get in contact with the seller and ask where my book is. So this was my rant. I felt I needed to get this out. You can disagree with me about used books versus new books if you want, I like both.

That would be the problem with buying used books online.... did you buy on Amazon? B&N also does used books so I would think they would be more reliable about it. So just for future book buying, keep that in mind. Idk I have a local book/music/movie store and they do used books and I usually get excellent steals.

Yea I got them from Border's Marketplace. I just remembered that this particular book is coming from California and I live all the way in Georgia, so that could be why.

I've ordered used on amazon and didn't get one of the books for months. Then when I left poor feedback they were very rude! I rarely buy used online now, but the main reason is because the shipping is usually so much that I might as well just buy it new. But those books that are only a dollar or less (or an inexpensive hardback) I will buy used. I only had that one bad experience though I've had some packaged poorly and they ended up pretty damaged.
California to Georgia shouldn't make a difference. I get books from my friend in TN ALL the time and even with media mail its less then a week. Make sure you leave bad FB so someone else doesn't have to deal with it.

Okay I will take your advice and leave bad feedback. Thanks.
You'll find that most of the used booksellers on Amazon & B&N are the same ones. I've had the same experiences myself where one book from one seller arrived within the week and a second book arrived over a month later. As was mentioned just leave negative feedback. Plus you have, as of writing, 23 followers who you can spread the word to about the seller by naming them and odds are that we wouldn't then buy from them. Perhaps blog about such...praise for those that shipped fast and efficiently and a warning about those that didn't.
Have you ever tried betterworldbooks or thriftbooks or a company of that ilk? They sell used books at cheap prices that include shipping in the price. Betterworldbooks even has a constant bargain bin where you can get 5 for $15 and that includes shipping. I've found both their shipping times to be good (for BWB) and decent for Thriftbooks.

I have heard of both thriftbooks and Betterworldbooks. I have contacted the seller and have told them about my problem, but have not heard back yet. I have also learned that this book is not coming from California but Tennessee, so it should of been here already. I might post about it that is a good idea.
