Clockwork Angel

This is the book I've been anticipating for months now. I got through Traveling ARC Tours. I couldn't wait till I finally got to read it. The book is Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare

About and Thoughts on Book:

Magic is dangerous—but love is more dangerous still.
When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray crosses the ocean to find her brother, her destination is England, the time is the reign of Queen Victoria, and something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural folk stalk the gaslit streets. Only the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons, keep order amidst the chaos.
Kidnapped by the mysterious Dark Sisters, members of a secret organization called The Pandemonium Club, Tessa soon learns that she herself is a Downworlder with a rare ability: the power to transform, at will, into another person. What’s more, the Magister, the shadowy figure who runs the Club, will stop at nothing to claim Tessa's power for his own.
Friendless and hunted, Tessa takes refuge with the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, who swear to find her brother if she will use her power to help them. She soon finds herself fascinated by—and torn between—two best friends: James, whose fragile beauty hides a deadly secret, and blue-eyed Will, whose caustic wit and volatile moods keep everyone in his life at arm's length . . . everyone, that is, but Tessa. As their search draws them deep into the heart of an arcane plot that threatens to destroy the Shadowhunters, Tessa realizes that she may need to choose between saving her brother and helping her new friends save the world. . . . and that love may be the most dangerous magic of all.

So like I said before I could not wait to get my hands on this book. If you read The Mortal Instruments series, then you know what I mean. It didn't disappoint either.

Tessa is a Downworlder, not that she knew it in the beginning. She finds out from the awful Dark Sisters(they're name really suits them). She ends up living with the Shadowhunters, not sure if she can trust them. She thinks they may just want to use her powers like the Dark Sisters did. But living with the Shadowhunters changes her life forever.I can tell you, I was really intrigued by Will, who seems exactly like Jace. I found that his parts were my favorite parts to read, again cause he reminded me so much of Jace. I had also liked reading parts that included Jace a lot in The Mortal Instruments series. I thought Jem, was simply an amazing person, but I didn't see their was a love triangle that is mentioned in the synopsis. Maybe it will develop later in the series. It kind of started in this one, but again I didn't feel that she really showed that. I can tell you that Jessamine's parts were not my favorite to read. I just thought she was arrogant, and extremely stuck up. I found that I couldn't put this book down, but I couldn't read it all in one day cause I had classes and exams to study for. It's hard to put exactly how I felt about this book into words. I did love reading this book, like I loved reading all of Cassandra Clare's books. I cannot wait to read the next one, or the next book in the Mortal Instruments series. It's really frustrating having to wait forever to get them. I hate that she leaves them on cliff hangers that really gets on my nerves, but it does make the story even better.

Overall I rate this one:
LI - Loved It! It's a definite read! You should grab this book before it goes running off the shelf! It might actually do that!
