I Heart You, You Haunt Me

I've been trying to get out of my reading slump, so I think I'm managing to accomplish this because I finished this book in just a few hours. It's I Heart You, You Haunt Me by Lisa Schroeder.

About and Thoughts on Book:
Girl meets boy.
Girl loses boy.
Girl gets boy back...
...sort of.
Ava can't see him or touch him, unless she's dreaming. She can't hear his voice, except for the faint whispers in her mind. Most would think she'scrazy, but she knows he's here.
Jackson. The boy Ava thought she'd spend the rest of her life with. He's back from the dead, as proof that love truly knows no bounds.
From B&N

This book simply amazed me. Reading Ellen Hopkins got me into reading books in verse, and this book just furthered my interest. I liked that you could easily read this in a matter of a couple of hours, but it's still an amazing book that you didn't want to get done reading. I did feel that some parts got on my nerves, like when Ava kept hinting at what exactly happened to Jackson, but she never really told you till the end. Yea that helps with the suspense and makes you keep wanting to read, but it has always made me frustrated. I think it's just me. I was expecting a ghost story where the ghost appears to Ava all the time, but this book wasn't exactly like that. She could never actually see Jackson unless in her dreams, but she knew when he was there. Like when a door would all of a sudden slam close, or when things would be knocked off her desk. Jackson was nothing like the ghosts from other things I've seen on TV. I felt Jackson showing up was messing with Ava's grieving process, because to her she still had him there. I felt that was hindering her moving on, and living her own life. But I could be wrong, you'd have to read the book to find out. And with that I end this review and hope that you'd add this book to your to be read list because I recommend it.

So I rate this one:
LI - Loved it! It's a definite read! You should grab this book before it goes running off the shelves! I know that not everyone likes verse novels, but I'm turning out to be a big fan. So if you do like verse novels, I'd think you'd like this one.

Also sorry I took forever to post this, I don't where all my time has gone, probably school.
